Holy Family Academy VZC is the first and only Catholic School in Van Zandt County. Our school has no higher calling than to serve as reliable partners to parents, nurturing and guiding children to Christ while forming the whole child in a manner fitting to God’s image bearers.

Holy Family Academy is accredited by the Education Department of the Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops (TCCB ED).

The Education Dept. of the TCCB is a TEA approved accrediting agency.

Holy Family Academy is now enrolling PreK-5th graders this fall (2026-2027). Enrollment is open year round, but the school is committed to maintaining small class sizes. Space for enrollment is limited.

For those interested in a closer look, Holy Family is pleased to offer a family tour. Upon request, tours may be followed up with a Shadow Day(s) allowing a child to participate in and experience the school’s classes on a trial basis. Email principal@holyfamilyvzc.org to schedule a tour.

The Academy is located two miles east of downtown Canton, Texas on Highway 64. The two-acre campus is totally lighted at night. Security cameras monitor the fenced playground area, classrooms, and gathering areas. There is controlled access to the school building.
